Oklahoma Highway Patrol troopers say a pilot has died after a plane crash in Beaver County.
That's in the panhandle. It happened at 10 o'clock Monday morning.
An accident report indicates the 1983 Air Tractor single engine plane was flying northeast when it hit the top of a weather tower with the right wing. The plane went into a spin and crashed into a field, landing on its top.
The FAA will investigate the crash.
The pilot was pronounced dead at the scene. The pilot's name has been withheld pending identification.
