A police chase, car wreck and burglary landed one Tulsa man behind bars early Friday morning.

According to police, a suspect was going through a west Tulsa neighborhood at speeds topping 80 miles an hour just after midnight.

Officers briefly lost sight of the vehicle and during that time, the driver crashed into the Holiday Motel on west Charles Page Blvd near 33rd W. Ave, fled the vehicle and committed a burglary at a room at the motel, police said.

David Ketcher, 34, was taken into custody a few minutes later.

He is charged with felony eluding and hit & run, as well as burglary.

Police said records showed he had 10 misdemeanor warrants out.

Ketcher being held on bonds totaling more than $60,000.

Authorities are trying to determine if the vehicle he was in was stolen. According to a booking report, it was full of women's clothes and products.
