It's Back-to-School time and busy moms and dads just don't have much time to spend in the kitchen. This Smart Chicken recipe is easy, oh-so-delicious and best of all, so healthy for you.
2-(4 count) package Smart Chicken Thighs, or your choice
1 envelope Italian salad dressing mix, zesty or regular
1/2 c. packed light brown sugar
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease or spray with a non-vegetable cooking pan (Pam) a 9x9-inch baking pan. Remove Smart Chicken from package and place in baking pan in a single layer. Sprinkle with Italian salad dressing mix and then sprinkle with brown sugar. Bake, uncovered, for 55-60 minutes or until an instant digital thermometer reads 165 degrees F. when inserted into the thickest part of the Smart Chicken thigh. Do not touch the bone, however. Remove from oven and serve immediately.
Serves 4 to 6.
Note: You can adapt this recipe to any part of the chicken.
