Skiatook Police reported that an elderly shooting victim passed away Saturday evening.
83-year-old Ken Cooper died after being shot during a possible home invasion that occurred last week at his residence in Skiatook. He sustained a gunshot wound to the chest and was transported to a Tulsa area hospital.
Cooper was taken to the hospital where he underwent surgery and was expected to recover at that time.
Skiatook police are continuing to investigate the shooting.
