1 lb. 95% lean ground beef of ground white turkey meat

1 medium onion, chopped

1 medium bell pepper, diced

4 cloves garlic, diced (or 2 tsp from jar)

1 tbsp chili powder

1 tbsp ground cumin

1/2 tsp ground coriander

1 (15.5 oz) can no-salt-added pinto or kidney or black beans, drained and washed

1 (15.5 oz) can no-salt-added diced tomatoes, undrained

3/4 cup jarred salsa (lowest sodium available)

1/4 cup water

1 tsp cayenne pepper (optional)

BROWN MEAT, ONION, PEPPERS AND GARLIC OVER MEDIUM HEAT.  DRAIN AND RETURN TO HEAT.  STIR IN REMAINING INGREDIENTS AND BRING TO A BOIL.  REDUCE TO SIMMER, COVER AND COOK FOR 20 MINUTES.
