Tulsa Man Charged with Raping, Holding Woman Against Will
A Tulsa man was taken into custody Monday morning on three counts each for first degree rape and rape by instrumentation.
Tulsa Police arrested Arthur Carlson on an arrest warrant issued by the District Attorney's office. In addition to the above charges, he was booked on two forcible oral sodomy charges and one more for assault and battery.
According to a release from TPD, the 22-year-old was place into custody by the Fugitive Warrants Unit. The warrant for his arrest total $340,000.
Back in April, the female victim told officers that Carlson held her against her will at his apartment. He assaulted her when she refused his advances and proceeded to rape her repeatedly.
Carlson will appear in court at a later date which has not been announced.
