Troopers Identify Motorcyclist Killed on Highway 412
Oklahoma authorities have identified a motorcyclist killed Wednesday morning following a fatal accident on Highway 412.
Oklahoma Highway Patrol stated that the accident happened just before 11 a.m. when they received a call of an injury accident three miles east of the Creek Turnpike on US 412.
Officials at the scene stated that a trash truck driven by Danny Jenkins had been traveling southbound on a county road when it pulled out in front of the motorcycle traveling in the righthand eastbound lane. Jeremy Lawson and Lauren Nieto were identified as those on the motorcycle.
According to a release from OHP, the motorcycle struck the trash truck killing Lawson. Nieto was transported to an area hospital and admitted in critical condition with multiple injuries.
Jenkins and his passenger in the trash truck, identified as Justin Harmon, received no injuries at the time of the collision.
