Tulsa Police Name Person of Interest In S. Tulsa Triple Shooting

Posted: Updated:

Police and Northern Oklahoma Fugitive Warrants Task Force agents have named a person of interest after a triple shooting this morning near 71st and Memorial. They are looking for 24-year-old Darrelle Goff.

Just before 12:45 Friday, police said, at least two gunmen pulled up to a home near 7100 S. 77th East Avenue.

The three victims were standing in the house's garage, where the gunmen approached them and opened fire. Police say there was an exchange of words, before the shooting. The suspects then quickly left the scene. A neighbor heard the commotion, came out of their home, saw the bloodied victims and called 911.

One of the men died, another was critically wounded and the third was treated for superficial wounds.

Police said the victims are all roommates at the home. A fourth roommate was not at the residence when the shots rang out. Neighbors woke up to crime tape, shock and disbelief.

"I called police because it really worried me. I could hear fast cars driving. The dispatcher asked me my address and pulled it up and said there had been a shooting in my area," explained Julie Grieb, who encountered the police roadblock this morning.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Goff please call Homicide Tip Line 918 798 8477 Crime Stoppers at 918 596 2677 or email homicide@cityoftulsa.org
