Woman in Critical Condition after Motorcycle Accident on BA Expressway
Tulsa, Oklahoma -
A woman is in critical condition after laying her motorcycle down on the Broken Arrow Expressway, Saturday afternoon.
According to Tulsa Police, an unidentified 46-year-old woman was traveling westbound on the expressway when the driver of another vehicle changed their mind on exiting onto the I-44 eastbound exit.
The driver of the vehicle crossed over the grass onto the expressway, causing the motorcycle rider to lay down her bike.
TPD investigators are not sure whether the vehicle directly or indirectly caused the accident. They have received conflicting reports from witnesses, however they do know that a cream or brown colored vehicle cut back onto the expressway causing the accident.
The woman on the motorcycle was transported to a Tulsa hospital and is listed in critical condition. TPD stated that the woman is on life support and her family is with her.
Tulsa police are asking for anyone witnesses to the accident to come forward.
According to police, the driver of the vehicle could face felony hit-and-run charges if it directly caused the accident.
