A Tulsa woman injured over the weekend following a motorcycle collision on the Broken Arrow Expressway has died.

A spokeswoman for Saint John Hospital told KTUL that Deborah Vaught died Sunday evening. She had been in critical condition since her motorcycle accident on Saturday.

According to previous reports, the 46-year-old had been traveling westbound on the expressway when the driver of another vehicle changed their mind on exiting onto the I-44 eastbound exit.

It was then that the driver of the vehicle crossed over the grass onto the expressway, causing the motorcycle rider to lay down her bike.

TPD investigators are not sure whether the vehicle directly or indirectly caused the accident. They have received conflicting reports from witnesses, however they do know that a cream or brown colored vehicle cut back onto the expressway causing the accident.

According to police, the driver of the vehicle could face felony hit-and-run charges if it directly caused the accident.
