Claremore Police Remove Vehicles from Bottom of Lake

Claremore authorities announced the discovery of two vehicles from the bottom of Claremore Lake earlier this week.

Claremore Police reportedly found a limousine and a Mustang during a search Monday. This was after a fisherman discovered the vehicles using a sonar device.

Chief Investigator Chuck Goad said the vehicles were removed the same day. He added that a in 2011 a Mustang had been reported stolen but had no information about the limousine.

According to a report from the Associated Press, the limousine is a Lincoln model from the late 1980s.

Authorities are investigating how the vehicles ended up at the bottom of the lake. No arrests have been made.
