A local union is raising money for an injured city worker.
The Robert Bower Benefit Carnival Saturday featured music, games and food.
Members of the AFSCME local 1180 organized the event for Bower.
He was badly burned when a gas line exploded last August.
"Robert is a father to special needs foster children, and so when this accident happened, it was financially devastating, no doubt," says Michael Rider, President of the AFSCME 1180. "As far as raising funds, we have no goals, the sky is the limit. We are very excited to see citizens who have come out to support their workforce tonight."
If you would like to help, just drop off your donation at any Bank of Oklahoma branch.
