Tulsa police say a woman was willing to do jail time, to protect her husband, after shooting, they say he carried out.
Ismael Deligorio is now facing charges of shooting with intent to kill, after shooting their 19 year old neighbor, Darrick Orcutt.
Police say the two have bickered recently, after the victim was bitten by one of the suspect's dogs. There was a confrontation on Monday night, on their street.
Police say Amanda Deligorio confessed that she fired a gun, after the victim and her husband fought in the street.
Investigators say she was at the police station, when they realized she was not telling them the truth, trying to cover up for her husband.
"There's movies and documentaries on how to plan a crime and you try to pull one over on us in two minutes. That insults us," said Dave Walker, of the Tulsa Police Department.
Darrick's mother says he will have to learn to walk again, and undergo extensive rehab.
