One man was transported to an area hospital Thursday after being shot in the shoulder in an area of north Tulsa.
Tulsa Police stated that the victim was shot in the shoulder after driving in the area of Pine and Utica.
He reportedly told officers he heard an "explosion" and pulled over at the Seminole Hills Shopping Center.
Emergency crews were called to the scene where he was transported with non-life threatening injuries.
Other witnesses told KTUL that shots had been fired at their vehicles in the same area. One couple stated that they had been working inside their business when they heard loud noises outside and a bullet hole in their vehicle.
Police are canvassing the area for evidence. No suspect description was available at this time.
