Crews Battle Blaze in North Tulsa Neighborhood

Posted: Updated:

Two firefighters were reportedly injured during a fire attack at a home in north Tulsa.

Tulsa Fire Department crews were called to the residence in the 7300 block of E. Easton Pl. It was here they found a house fully-involved in flames.

Officials at the scene told KTUL that crews proceeded to make an aggressive interior attack. A search and rescue was performed to ensure no one was inside the structure.

Little information was provided on the injuries the firefighters sustained. But both were taken to an area hospital to be checked out.

Fire crews also added that winds this afternoon contributed to the size of the fire and their ability to extinguish it. Investigators are at the scene trying to determine the cause.
