Standoff Ensues After Domestic Dispute in Okmulgee County

A standoff that began after a domestic dispute in Okmulgee County has ended, but authorities are still searching for the wanted man.

The Okmulgee County Sheriff’s office responded to a domestic dispute call near Hectorville this afternoon. A neighbor reported that a man and woman were fighting and the man was attempting to hit the woman with his vehicle, according to a press release from Undersheriff Fred McGuire.

Deputies surrounded the home and tried to get Jamie Alan English to come out of the house. Deputies eventually entered the house, but didn’t find English.

English is wanted on complains of domestic abuse and attempted assault with a deadly weapon.

Anyone with information about English is asked to call the Sheriff’s Office at 918-756-4311.
