Suspects Wanted in Attempted Auto Theft

Police are looking for two individuals, a white male and white female, who attempted to steal a vehicle on November 29.

Police say the vehicle was parked in the parking lot at 1700 South Peoria Avenue when a citizen saw the suspects near the vehicle.

According to reports, the citizen knew the vehicle did not belong to suspects and then confronted the suspects, who said they were going to tow the vehicle.

The citizen called the police and the suspects left in the white truck pictured above. Detectives think that the suspects could be responsible for similar thefts.
