Tulsa, OK -
Since local area schools were closed Tuesday, one local business decided to turn a snow day into a parents' day out.
Old School Bagel Cafe hosted "Bagel Daddy Daycare."
Children from 5-14 years old got to hang out for a few hours, watch a movie and play board games.
Owner Aaron Quinton says he wanted to give parents a day off too and see if this is a tradition his store might want to start.
"We're testing the waters," Quinton says. "We don't want to get in over our heads on this, but so far so good. We enjoy having the community get involved, be a part of the bagel shop and enjoy a warm bagel on a cold day."
The next event would probably be closer to Christmas in order to give parents time to shop.
More than 20 children showed up, and the older ones volunteered to help watch the little ones.
Evangelist Franklin Graham prayed on a sidewalk outside the Pentagon Thursday after his invitation to a prayer service inside was withdrawn because of comments that insulted people of other religions. More>>
