Coweta Man Dies After Double Shooting Involving Brother

Wagoner County officials stated that a man suspected of shooting his brother and then shooting himself has died.

Authorities with the Wagoner County Sheriff's Office said Randall Eugene Grigg Jr. died Tuesday night at a Tulsa area hospital. He was a Coweta resident.

According to a statement from the WCSO, Grigg was accused of shooting his brother, Jeremiah Roberts, last weekend and then turning the gun on himself. The incident took place at a home near the 25000 block of E 121st St. South.

Previous reports from KTUL stated that the two brothers were arguing after drinking when the dispute escalated into violence. Nine children and Grigg's spouse were in the residence during the shooting.

"I think it's a tragedy this has occurred, especially during the holiday season," Sheriff Bob Colbert said. "My heart goes out to these poor children in the home that unfortunately had to witnessed this event."
