A driver was taken to an area hospital with a broken leg Monday afternoon after crashing into a semi truck.
Emergency paramedics transported the unidentified woman to an area hospital and she was removed using extrication equipment. This happened before 2 p.m. near 91st and Memorial.
At the scene Tulsa Police discovered that the driver in the red Ford Focus had been traveling eastbound on 91st street when it drifted into the centerline and hit the back of a semi traveling westbound.
Officials stated that the vehicle spun around and then came to a rest. Firefighters were called on scene to help remove the woman in the vehicle.
