Arrest Made in Connection with Okmulgee County Double Shooting
Okmulgee deputies arrested 24 year-old Andrew Eversole at 1 p.m. Wednesday on two complaints of shooting with intent to kill and possession of a firearm after a former felony conviction.
Eversole was arrested in connection to the double shooting that took place at 6:30 a.m. Wednesday along Sharp Road southwest of town.
When deputies arrived on scene this morning, they found two male victims with gunshot wounds.
Okmulgee County Sheriff's Office Investigator, Robert Heath said, from their investigation it appears Eversole was at a party at the house, when a fight broke out and escalated from there.
A neighbor in the area, who has lived there for 12 years, spoke off camera saying the house always had a lot of people at it and he feared something like this might happen. Heath said they haven't been called to the house for anything like this before.
Both victims were transported to an Okmulgee hospital and later air lifted to a Tulsa area hospital. Deputies said they are listed in stable condition.
