Renovations Complete at Broken Arrow High School Campus

Posted: Updated:

A 93,000 square foot addition to the Broken Arrow High School campus is complete and will be open to students on Monday.

The addition took 18 months of construction and connects five existing buildings.

The renovations, which cost a total of 27 million, include improvements to the gym area and other sections of the campus, some of which are ongoing.

Michelle Bergwall, chief operating officer at BAHS, said that part of the reason for the renovations were to to secure the school's front entries.

Bergwall also thinks that the renovations, which include adjustments to the parking lots, will lead to an overall smoother circulation experience for students.

Part of the reason for the renovations is to prepare the school for next year, when sophomores will join juniors and seniors at the main high school location.
