One in Critical Condition after Broken Arrow Collision

The Broken Arrow Police Department is investigating a major injury collision from today in which a vehicle slid into an intersection and was struck by another vehicle.

The accident occurred at 12:40 p.m. this afternoon at the intersection of West Memphis Street and South Elm Place in Broken Arrow according to a BAPD press release.

According to BAPD's preliminary investigation, the driver of a Toyota Camry was eastbound on West Memphis Street and was unable to stop at an intersection.

As a result, the Toyota Camry slid into the intersection of South Elm Place where it was struck by a gold Lexus SUV.

BAPD reports the driver of the Toyota Camry was transported to the hospital and is in critical condition while the driver of the Lexus SUV only had minor injuries.

The incident is still under investigation.
