Police Identify Four of Five Killed in Bartlesville Fire

Bartlesville authorities identified four of the five individuals killed in a fire over the weekend.

Initial reports state the fire began in the residence around 5 a.m. near the 300 block of NW Sunset Boulevard. Bartlesville Fire Department, the Bartlesville Police Department and Emergency Management all responded to the blaze.

Officials told KTUL that once the fire was extinguished they discovered that five people were in the residence at the time. An initial report states they were killed by smoke inhalation.

    Destiny Jo Daugherty 18

    Jeremy Wayne Blair 38

    Shelby Renea Sanders 23

Bartlesville Police added that the five person has not been identified at this time. But did reveal that he was a 17-year-old male.

Investigators remain on the scene Monday morning to determine the cause of the fire. Agents with the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms are assisting.
