Wintry Mix Is On Its Way

Posted: Updated:

The next system is headed our way. It moves in tomorrow bringing with it rain, freezing rain/drizzle and even some light snow.

Early Wednesday the precipitation will develop across southern Oklahoma and spread north by the afternoon.

Cold front will arrive early afternoon keeping temps near freezing so a wintry mix is possible. Eventually it will switch over to snow north of I-40 in the afternoon.

Impact: Ice accumulation will be light between .05-.10" but enough to cause some slick spots in the evening and Thursday morning. Snow accumulation will range between a dusting to an 1" across the metro. Extreme northeast OK will see 1.-2".
