City of Tulsa Offers Parking Ticket Amnesty

Posted: Updated:
The City of Tulsa is allowing holders of unpaid parking tickets to pay off their debt without adding on late fees or court costs.

Beginning Jan. 17, the holders of nearly 19,000 unpaid parking tickets that are on file will be able to pay them off at City Hall or Tulsa Municipal Courts without having to pay late fees or court costs.

The amnesty period is only for parking tickets and ends Feb. 7.

Tulsa ordinances stated that any vehicle with two or more outstanding parking citations may be declared a public nuisance, which means the vehicle could be booted or towed until all fees are paid, according to the City of Tulsa.

Tulsans who may have an outstanding parking citation, can call 918-596-7761 for information. The City of Tulsa says callers must have their vehicle license tag number ready for verification.
