Fleet Feet Fitness Program Begins Today

Posted: Updated:

Fleet Feet's "Ton of Fun" fitness program got underway today at 52 Fitness in downtown Tulsa.

The 12-week program is aimed at getting Tulsans to lose a total of 2,000 pounds through weekly workouts, private weigh-ins and nutritional support.

Lori Dreiling, the co-owner of Fleet Feet Sports and 52 Fitness, said there are around 50 people signed up for the program now but she hopes to see up to 100 to 200 get involved.

The cost to sign up is $50 but there will be rewards and prizes offered to help participants who meet goals.

Dreiling said that part of the reason for the program is to help to get Oklahoma off of the obesity list.

Those who want to get involved can do so by signing up at either of the Fleet Feet locations or at 52 Fitness. The program will be taking registrations for the next two weeks.

The weekly workouts take place each Sunday for the next 12 weeks at 12:30 p.m. at 52 Fitness.
