Aaron Colvin Tears ACL During Senior Bowl Practice

Posted: Updated:
Owasso native and former Oklahoma cornerback Aaron Colvin tears the ACL in his right knee Tuesday during Senior Bowl practice in Mobile, Alabama.

Colvin's agent Ken Sarnoff confirmed the early reports.

Aaron was considered the ninth best cornerback prospect in the country according to NFLDraftScout.com.  He was projected to be drafted in the second or third round.

This is want Aaron said on twitter after his MRI:
“As many of you already know I did catch a very unfortunate break today. No, don’t know why it happened to me but it did and I know there’s a special reason for it. I can sit here and cry about it or I can move forward and work my butt off to still make it happen, which I will! My faith will not be moved and I will continue to put my faith in the Lord my King to do bigger and better things than I originally had planned for myself. I will come back bigger, stronger and faster and I WILL be the most dominate DB in the league (mark my words) when I get my opportunity. I absolutely thank you all for the prayers and support. I truly believe God gives his biggest battles to his strongest soldiers and he knows he has warrior right here. Thank you all and I will see you at the top. God Bless #GodSpeed"
