Mary Anne’s Big Game Oreo Dessert Pizza

Posted: Updated:

Super Bowl Sunday is one of the biggest nights for serving pizza. Most people watching the game will say they want something delicious, hot, and fast and that you can eat with your hands. The same goes for desserts; so why not serve a dessert pizza!

6 Double Stuffed Oreos

1/4 cup brown sugar

2 Tablespoons granulated sugar

1/2 cup flour

1/4 cup cold butter, cut into cubes

2 cans crescent rolls

1/4 cup chopped pecans, optional

4 Double Stuffed Oreos, pulsated or chopped into chunks, optional

Chocolate or peanut butter chips, optional

For the Glaze:

1/2 cup powdered sugar

1 Tablespoon unsalted butter, melted

1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract or Godiva chocolate liqueur

1 Tablespoon milk

  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Lightly spray a large baking pan with butter-flavored Pam. Using a paper towel, wipe off any excess spray. Place cookies in a food processor or blender and pulsate into fine crumbs.
  • In a medium bowl, combine Oreo crumbs, brown sugar, white sugar and flour. Using a pastry blender or two butter knives, cut cold butter cubes into cookie mixture to form a fine crumb. Or you can add the brown sugar, white sugar and flour to the Oreo crumbs in the food processor and pulsate to mix well. Add cold butter cubes and pulsate to form a crumb.
  • On the prepared cookie sheet, separate crescent roll dough into 8 triangles and form into the shape of a circle. Using your fingers, press edges together. Sprinkle one-half of the Oreo crumb mixture on top. If desired, sprinkle pecans and 1/2 of the Oreo chunks on top of the dessert pizza. If using, top with a few chocolate or peanut butter chips. Note: You can spread topping as lightly or as heavily as you desire. Bake in preheated oven for 8-12 minutes. Repeat process with the remaining ingredients.
  • Remove from oven and let the pizzas cool for approximately 10 minutes. While still warm, drizzle pizzas with glaze. Using a knife, cut the dessert pizza into serving pieces.
  • For the glaze: Blend together all the glaze ingredients and drizzle over the dessert pizzas.

Makes approximately 16 to 20 pieces depending on serving size.
