A woman was pronounced deceased on scene Sunday from head injuries after driving a vehicle off the road and impacting a creek two miles east of Morrison.
Brittney Donnielle Perkins, 23, of Okmulgee, reportedly failed to negotiate a curve on US-64 westbound, departed the roadway and after impacting a creek, was pinned for an unknown time until the Morrison Fire Department arrived.
The report from the Oklahoma Highway Patrol said that Perkins was not wearing a seatbelt.
Perkins was transported to Poteet Funeral Home in Pawnee.
