Oklahoma Flu Deaths Climb to 25

More than 100 new flu cases were reported this week in Oklahoma.

In all, 25 Oklahomans have died from the flu since flu season began this fall. Five of those deaths were in Tulsa County, according to the latest numbers released Thursday by the State Health Department.

Persons who already have the flu can spread it to others even before they feel sick. You may have the flu if you have some or all of these symptoms:

  • Fever (although not everyone with flu will have a fever)
  • Cough
  • Sore throat
  • Runny or stuffy nose
  • Body aches
  • Headache
  • Chills
  • Fatigue
