Broken Arrow Police have a suspect in custody after a standoff Thursday night goes into early Friday morning.
It started around 8 p.m. near 61st Street and South Garnett. Police say a woman told them her husband, identified as Jack Campbell, had assaulted her so she ran to a neighbor's house to call cops.
When authorities arrived, Campbell was outside then went into the house. A Special Operations Team set up a perimeter and to get him to come out peacefully.
After failed attempts of verbal negotiations, BAPD and Special Operations forces deployed gas and pepper balls. Campbell still refused to leave the house. Authorities then went inside the house and found him in the attic.
BAPD say Campbell was treated for minor injures and then brought into custody. He faces domestic assault and battery by strangulation charges.
