Oklahoma a Leader in Teen Birth Rates

The national birth rate for teens has declined in recent years, but teen pregnancy is still an issue in Oklahoma.

Though Oklahoma teen birth rates are declining, Oklahoma is still one of the leading states when it comes to teenage birth rates, according to a release from the Oklahoma Institute for Child Advocacy.

Okla. is ranked first in the nation among births for 18 and 19-year-olds, second in the nation for births in 15 to 19-year-olds and third when it comes to 15 to 17 year-olds.
