2014 Week 4 Elite 8 Ford Award Nominees

Posted: Updated:

"I'm Maddie Miller, I'm a forward at Kiefer High School and I have a twin."

No one is getting the job done in Class 2A like Maddie.  The junior forward leads the class in two separate categories.  She averages over 20-points and 11-rebounds a game.

She attributes his success to her teammates and especially to her twin sister Gabbie.

"It's awesome, you always have someone there to get your back. I wouldn't have it any other way. I love playing with her. It's unexplainable. We're always there. I'm pass and she'll just be there. Sometimes I don't know how I get it to here but I do"

This weeks boys nominee takes us to Berryhill High School where this guy is putting up some big numbers.  For the season he's averaging a double double.

"My name is Chandler Moczygemba, I'm a forward at Berryhill High School and I like to snow board."

Chandler says he loves basketball because there's not a lot of standing around.  He's a very active player and it shows in his stats.  He averages over 21-points, 10-rebounds and 5-assists a game.

He and the rest of the Berryhill Chiefs hope to make this an historic season.

"For this season our team set a goal to make it to state. Which has never been done in Berryhill history, so that would be a pretty sweet goal to get to."

Congrats to Chandler Moczygemba of Berryhill and Kiefer's Maddie Miller.  They are your week four nominees for the Elite 8 Ford Award.
