Broken Arrow has named a new assistant City Manager, Jeff Jenkins.
Jenkins most recently served as City Manger for Lucas, Texas. He has also served as City Manager for Henrietta, Texas.
"The selection committee and I thought Jeff stood out from the other candidates as the individual who could help Broken Arrow continue building relationships in the organization, community and with the City Council. He has 10 years of experience as a City Manager and his breadth of experience will be an asset," City Manager Thom Moton said.
Jenkins has a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science and history and a Master's in Public Administration from Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls, Texas.
Jenkins is excited to join the growing city of Broken Arrow, and looking forward to help grow it further.
"The community has different facilities, retail and entertainment and a wonderful downtown, which
has provided the city with a high quality of life," Jenkins said.
"Being able to experience these things and find ways to further enhance the community really makes me excited about being in Broken Arrow," Jenkins said.
He will join the staff March 17.
