Posted: Updated:

The man who was accused of raping two women was found guilty this afternoon.

Willis McPherson's case returned to the Tulsa County courthouse Friday morning. He was found guilty for first degree rape and rape by instrumentation. McPherson received life without parole and will have to pay 85,000 dollars in fines.

Court records indicate that McPherson previously plead not guilty for the charges he faces.

During proceedings Friday members of the courtroom heard from two of McPherson's sisters in his defense. His attorney's ended their arguments before noon.

McPherson's case dates back to February 2012 when he was charged for the two rapes that occurred near 51st street and Yale. One of those incidents happened early one morning on the trails of LaFortune Park.
