One person is dead after a one-vehicle traffic accident on I-35 southbound in Love County.
A report from the Oklahoma Highway Patrol said the vehicle reportedly lost control due to icy road conditions and then departed the roadway to the right and overturned onto its side.
Three of the four occupants of the vehicle were either uninjured or suffered minor injuries.
Rusty D. Sherman, 25, of Ardmore, was transported to Mercy Hospital in Ardmore and was pronounced dead at the hospital from massive injuries, according to the report from OHP.
OHP reported that it appeared the vehicle was going at an unsafe speed for icy roadways.
