TU Football Sets Spring Practice Dates

The Tulsa Golden Hurricane football team will kick-off spring practice on March 11th, it was announced today by Head Football Coach Bill Blankenship.

Tulsa will begin 2013 spring drills with three practice sessions before spring break and 12 of the allowed 15 days of spring practice following the week break. Tulsa's practice sessions will cover five weeks and will normally take place on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. The Hurricane will first take the practice field on Tuesday, March 11th for a 3:30 pm practice. There will be one Wednesday practice session scheduled for the first week of spring drills.

After spring break, Tulsa returns to the practice field on Tuesday, March 25th for the first of the final 12 practice sessions of the spring season. The Annual Spring Game will take place on Saturday April 19th. Time of the spring game has yet to be determined.

Ten starters and five part-time starters return to the defensive side of the ball for Tulsa, while four starters return on offense along with another six part-time starters.

Tulsa Pro Day is also set for March 11th at 9:00 a.m.
