Dover Quartet to Perform in Tulsa Tonight

Posted: Updated:

The young and talented Dover Quartet will be performing at 7 p.m. tonight at St. John's Episcopal Church.

The string quartet won the 2013 Banff (Canada) International String Quartet Competition as well as many other awards.

"We are very pleased to be able to present this outstanding, young quartet to Tulsa. It is an unusual opportunity to hear them so early in their career. It might be years before we were able to get them on our schedule, so we leapt at the chance," executive director of Chamber Music Tulsa Bruce Sorrell said.

"Their youthful enthusiasm and musical conviction delivers a concert experience that is truly their own. Audiences will no doubt be delighted with this upcoming performance," Sorrell said.

Tickets are $15 at the door at $5 for students.
