Two teens are recovering at an area hospital after being hit by a vehicle Monday evening near 51st and Sheridan.
Both were identified as Elijah Dickson and Jaden Belyeu. One of them reportedly suffered a femur fracture and the other was grazed by the vehicle.
Tulsa Police told KTUL that the driver of the vehicle, identified as Christopher Crytser, was taken into custody on an outstanding warrant. He is not being cited for the traffic accident at this time.
Initial reports state that the teens were reportedly crossing the street between two cars north of the intersection at Sheridan and were subsequently hit by Crytser going between 10 and 15 miles per hour.
TPD told KTUL that Crytser was allegedly driving with a suspended license.
Both teens are expected to recover from their injuries.
