Altercation Leads to Overnight Shooting at North Tulsa Motel

Posted: Updated:

Emergency crews transported a man to the hospital in stable condition overnight after a shooting at the Relax Inn on East Admiral Place.

Police said the victim got into an altercation with two other men in the motel's parking lot. The victim ran into the apartment and one of the other two men shot him through the door, firing four shots and striking the victim in the right hip one time.

"As of right now, we're still trying to get more information. We do know that one of the suspects did know where the female [was], it was her apartment, and he did know that she was staying at this inn. But as of right now, we don't know what the motive was," said Corporal R.W. Solomon.

It is unclear how the people involved know each other. Police said the victim and woman are cooperating in the investigation.

Upon initial investigation, police did not report finding anything suspicious in the apartment.

Police said it is possible the suspects drove away in a Honda Civic. Police are continuing to search for the suspects.
