Guthrie and Stillwater Area Shaken by More Earthquakes

The Stillwater and Guthrie area has been rocking this weekend, and it's not from a concert. Multiple earthquakes have been reported by the U.S. Geological Survey in the area since Friday.

At 5:32 am a 2.2 magnitude tremor was detected 7 miles south southwest of Guthrie at a depth of 3.1 miles.

A 3.2 magnitude earthquake struck Friday afternoon four miles southwest of Guthrie at 3:38 p.m.

It was at a depth of about 3.1 miles.

Two quakes occurred Saturday morning, the first at 2:21 a.m. 7 miles southwest of Guthrie at a depth of 3.1 miles.

At 8:06 a.m., a 2.9 magnitude earthquake rattled the ground 4 miles northeast of Stillwater. It also was at a depth of 3.1 miles.

Central Oklahoma was also shaken Saturday night. Around 9:11 p.m. a 3.1 magnitude quake occurred about 3 miles south southwest of Stillwater at a depth of 2.4 miles.

At 10:07 p.m. 2.2 magnitude quake was centered at Stillwater itself at a depth of 3.1 miles.

Later, at 10:44 p.m., another quake registered 3.0 on the Richter scale at the same depth, this time 3 miles southeast of Stillwater.
