McAlester Man Accused of Recording Women Pleads Guilty

Posted: Updated:

A McAlester man charged with three counts of video voyeurism at the McAlester Ammunition Plant appear in court this week.

Prosecutors allege that Kenneth Elkins hid a camera at the ammunition plant and recorded women in the restroom at least three separate times. The incidents took place during the summer of 2013.

Federal court records indicate that Elkins appeared for a hearing Feb. 25. He entered a guilty plea on the charges he faces.

According to the statement released from the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Eastern District of Oklahoma, Elkins also faces state charges after a search of his home in the federal case turned up evidence of alleged additional crimes, including images of child pornography.

Elkins is out on bond.
