Leader in Me, a global education movement, is an education initiative focused on teaching leadership to students from kindergarten to 12th grade.
From Feb. 25-27, Northeastern State University's Broken Arrow location will play host to the symposium, which will consist of different teaching techniques and seminars designed to teach leadership, including instruction on the "7 Habits of Highly Effective People."
The Leader in Me event last year reportedly stretched across 37 states and 15 countries. The event is expected to see between 300 and 500 educators on hand from Oklahoma as well as other states.
The Leader in Me conference costs $295, which includes breakfast and lunch. $165 is the admission price for those interested in the pre-conference only.
