Posted: Updated:

A Vinita man was arrested on Feb. 20 after explosive devices were allegedly found in his home on the 500 block of North Smith Street.

According to a court affidavit from Craig County, Oklahoma Highway Patrol bomb squad troopers found six improvised explosive devices (IEDs) in the suspect's residence.

Jason Riseman, 28, reportedly admitted that he made them but said that they were not dangerous and did not intend to use them.

The affidavit says that Riseman admitted to making threatening comments to a woman named Donnie but said that his comments were only made because he was "extremely upset" with her.

The suspect was placed under arrest on six counts of illegal manufacturing of an explosive device as well as making a threat to kill someone with an explosive device.

He is being held on $20,000 bond.
