IHOP's National Pancake Day Raises Money for Children

Posted: Updated:

Customers can get a free stack of IHOP's famous buttermilk pancakes today until 10 p.m.

National Pancake Day began in 2006, and since its beginning, IHOP has raised $13 million for charities.

This year, IHOP asks customers to voluntarily make donations for each stack of pancakes, which will go to Shriners Hospitals for Children in Tulsa.

IHOP said that if all of the the pancakes served on National Pancake Day in 2013 were stacked on top of each other, the stack would tower at 13 miles high.
