Two Suffer Burns to Bodies After Tri-Plex Fire in Drumright

Two individuals are in the hospital Friday afternoon after a fire at a tri-plex in Drumright.

Crews with the Drumright Fire Department were called to the scene early Friday morning. This was in the 600 block of North Creek.

Investigators at the scene stated that the fire began in a hot water tank closet. The building housed three different families.

Paramedics treated the two individuals for burns received from the fire. At least 30 to 40 percent of their bodies were burned.

It is unclear what started the fire at this time. And officials have not stated that the hot water tank exploded.

Investigators will remain on scene to determine the cause. But all three families were displaced.
