According to the official website, www.internationalwomensday.com “International Women’s Day has been observed since in the early 1900′s, a time of great expansion and turbulence in the industrialized world that saw booming population growth and the rise of radical ideologies.”

International Womens Day is held on the 8th March every year, on this day events are held all around the world. The idea of the day is to bring women together for inspiration and to celebrate womens achievements.

Grumpy But Gorgeous was pleased to work with Jacadi Paris, Jacadi Paris describe themselves as a “premium children’s brand driven by strong values, Jacadi preserves and promotes French heritage and tradition.” This year a spa party was hosted at the Jacadi Paris Knightsbridge, London boutique.

Katie Brown, a spokesperson for Grumpy But Gorgeous said, “This season the store is selling clothes with a nautical theme so we did a spa party to match the seasons clothing line, this included nautical themed nails.” Katie said that the store owner was extremely pleased, Katie said that because so many parents enquired about her spa parties after the event she actually ran out of business cards. Photos of the event can be found on The Grumpy But Gorgeous Facebook Page.

Katie went on to say that she was most pleased with the children’s feedback on the party, she said “all the girls that took party in the had a great time.” Katie said that she is always pleased to make the children that attend her parties happy. Besides a great sense of satisfaction Katie believes that happy children and successful parties are good for business. When the children are happy, the parents are happy, happy parents tell their friends and give Katie the kind of reviews that can be seen in the video below.
