High Fire Danger Today

Posted: Updated:

Weekend rains did little to help ease the fire danger for northeastern Oklahoma.

Strong, gusty winds from the South at 20-30 mph, with higher gusts possible throughout the afternoon are expected today. A red flag warning has been posted from 1pm-8pm this evening.

Wagoner County is the only county in the Tulsa area with a burn ban in effect, but dry conditions and high winds could lead to fires in all parts of Green Country.
