Multiple fire departments responded to a grass fire northeast of Stillwater in Glencoe Sunday afternoon.

Firefighters have gotten the blaze under control using back burning techniques.

The affected area is pasture and is mostly isolated from homes.

One structure, an unoccupied trailer is reported to have burned, a firefighter on scene told a KTUL reporter.

The Glencoe Fire Department said the fire began around about 1 p.m.

It occurred around south of Highway 412 near the intersection of N Mount Vernon Road and E McElroy Road.

KTUL crews are on site investigating. We will report more information as it becomes available.
